The delegation of Turkmenistan take part at 9th World Investment Forum in Doha, Qatar

On October 25, 2026, the opening ceremony of the 9th World Investment Forum, under the theme "Investing in the Future," was held in Doha, State of Qatar. The event was attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, high-level government representatives of various countries, including ministers, heads of international organizations, and representatives of the private sector.

Turkmenistan was represented at the event by a delegation led by N. Agahanov, the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.

On the same day, the Turkmen delegation also participated in a ministerial session on investments held within the framework of the forum. In his speech, N. Agahanov underlined Turkmenistan’s economic development and the priority areas of the country’s investment policy. Furthermore, it was emphasized that, under the leadership of the esteemed President, special attention is being given to the development of the country’s transport and transit capabilities.
